Sail 4 Cancer and the London Sailing Project (LSP) have teamed up once again to offer teenagers who have suffered from cancer the opportunity to “get away from it all” – namely crewing an ocean-going yacht.


A resounding success for the 2008 Bayer Newbury 10K.

On the morning of Sunday June 1st, there were over 500 participants behind the Start line in Bartholomew Street in Newbury, all undertaking the 10K run challenge which ultimately supported local charity Sail 4 Cancer.

Introduction:
As its name suggests, Sail 4 Cancer aims to raise significant funds for cancer treatment and research through the organisation of high profile sailing events. Sail 4 Cancer also provides sailing opportunities for cancer patients and their families, in the hope that their quality of life may be improved. For more information on our Objectives, click here.

Our current programme of fund raising events includes Tall Ship Challenge days, regattas such as the Yarmouth Regatta and the Finance Shield, to participating in the infamous Fastnet.
